2. Applicability and Acceptance

By using our Website, you agree to these general terms and conditions and our Privacy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Portimao Booking reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on the Website. Each time you use the Website, it is assumed that you agree to the then-current terms.

3. What do we do?

Portimao Booking is the official booking platform for our own accommodations in Portimão. Through the Website, you can easily:

  • Book your stay directly with us;
  • Discover restaurants and enjoyable places in the area;
  • Find information about local events and activities;
  • Benefit from exclusive promotions and offers available only through our Website.

You are therefore booking directly with the owner, without the intervention of third parties.

4. Use of the Website

You must be at least 18 years old to make reservations or bookings. You are responsible for the accuracy of your details. You are obliged to cancel your reservation if you do not intend to use your booking (“no-show” is not permitted). It is not permitted to copy, distribute, or commercially reuse information from the Website in any way without our written consent. Misuse of the Website may lead to the suspension or deletion of your account.

5. Booking and Cancellation

By making a reservation through Portimao Booking, you enter into an agreement directly with us as the owner and manager of the booked accommodation. We are responsible for:

  • Providing the booked accommodation as described on our website;
  • Handling bookings, payments, and any cancellations according to our terms.

Depending on our cancellation policy, you may cancel free of charge up to the period indicated in the terms.

6. Promotions and Discounts

Promotions are only valid when you book through our Website. Each promotion has specific conditions. If these conditions are not met, the right to a discount or extras will lapse.

7. Accounts

To use certain functions on the website (such as managing reservations or posting reviews), it may be necessary to create an account. You choose your own username and password. 12. Complaints and Disputes

If you have a complaint about our services or about a provider via our Website, please let us know via info@portimaobooking.com. We strive for a quick and appropriate solution. For disputes, if legally permitted, Dutch law applies and the courts of Groningen have jurisdiction. In the case of consumers within the EU, the European dispute resolution procedure also applies.
